1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SnapUpscale ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

2. Order Process and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Dodo Payments. They are the Merchant of Record for all our orders and manage payment processing securely. Your payment statement will show a charge from Dodo Payments. For refund requests and technical support, please contact SnapUpscale directly.

3. License Grant

Upon purchasing a license, SnapUpscale grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the Software strictly in accordance with these Terms.

  • Single-Device License: A standard license allows you to activate and use the Software on one (1) physical device at a time.
  • Commercial Use: You may use the Software to process media for commercial purposes (e.g., YouTube videos, client work, marketing materials) without paying any additional royalties.
  • Updates and Upgrades: Your license includes free minor updates and bug fixes for the current major version (e.g., version 1.x). Major upgrades (e.g., version 2.0) may require an additional upgrade fee.

4. Restrictions and Anti-Piracy

You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:

  • License, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose, or otherwise commercially exploit the Software itself.
  • Modify, make derivative works of, disassemble, decrypt, reverse compile, or reverse engineer any part of the Software.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice (including any notice of copyright or trademark) of SnapUpscale or its affiliates, partners, suppliers, or the licensors of the Software.
  • Attempt to bypass, modify, defeat, or otherwise circumvent the digital rights management (DRM) or licensing verification mechanisms, including the SHA256 machine binding and the time-tampering defense systems.

Violation of these restrictions will result in immediate and permanent revocation of your license without refund.

5. Offline Grace Period and Verification

The Software requires periodic internet connectivity to verify your license status. You are granted a 7-day offline grace period. If the Software cannot connect to our licensing servers (via Dodo Payments) within 7 days, it will temporarily lock until a connection is re-established. Attempting to manipulate your system clock to bypass this restriction will trigger our anti-tamper mechanisms and may invalidate your license.

6. Intellectual Property

The Software, including without limitation all copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights are, and shall remain, the sole and exclusive property of SnapUpscale.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided to you "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, SnapUpscale expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

8. Limitation of Liability

Notwithstanding any damages that you might incur, the entire liability of SnapUpscale and any of its suppliers under any provision of this Agreement and your exclusive remedy for all of the foregoing shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you for the Software.

9. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee under specific conditions. You are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase if:

  • You have not yet activated the License Key on any device; OR
  • The Software fails to function on your system as advertised, and our support team is unable to resolve the technical issue within a reasonable timeframe.

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Change of mind after the License Key has been successfully activated.
  • Inability to use the Software due to hardware that does not meet the minimum system requirements stated on our website.
  • Violation of the Anti-Piracy terms (Section 4).
